To boldly go

Today I claim the space to be me. Today I affirm that I’m not a half-baked pastry waiting for some salvific timer to proclaim “now’s your time to rise and shine!” Today I claim all the gifts that were given to me by all that willed me into being and say, “look out world, here I come!” Funny how we have no trouble dressing up unsuspecting 2 year-olds in shirts that declare the impact they will have on the world. Today I claim the courage of my inner 2 year old and will boldly go.
